May 14, 2016/ October 29, 2016

Wave Pool and Archive of Creative Culture team up to present a one-night event on Saturday, October 29 at 6 pm.

The Archive of Creative’s Culture will debut the Archive Argosy—a mobile museum as reimagined 1973 Airstream Argosy. Join us as Cincinnati artist, Marc Governanti transforms the Archive Argosy into a light and sound sculpture while text-based Bay Area artist Kari Marboe performs a reading of a new work.

Archive of Creative Culture is an Atlanta-based, participatory project sourcing books that represent a pivotal moment in the life of revered arts and cultural figures. The project builds the book collection by traveling to cities and towns across the country to gather books and document the histories of today’s influential creative minds.

In May 2016, Archive of Creative Culture cultivated a collection of books from local artist and cultural figures based on nominations provided by Wave Pool. This collection remains on permanent display in Wave Pool’s Book Nook.

Wave Pool is a dynamic place where art intersects with community. We act as a catalyst for social engagement and cultivate artistic development. Wave Pool is interested in proactively engaging the larger, broader community, specifically in Camp Washington. We present art that is a catalyst for change, providing new ways to experience and transform our city.

Wave Pool is located at 2940 Colerain Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45225
